Go Figure. The best thing I purchased all year and never wrote the review. Wayne and Jeff Thanks so much for your time answering all my questions. Purchasing and doing the paper work on-line was smooth. The delivery service (R&L Carriers) was on time put the crate where I wanted it. I live in the USA. The TRAX X2 is great looking and rock solid. I use it to move a boat from the garage to the street and back to the garage on an inclined driveway. No problem here. I am most impressed on how you can navigate the unit. From a crawl to get put of my way mode the X2 tracks straight at any speed. Yet, the unit is a Beast with Surgical Control. I know the neighbors watch and say REALLY! Yes, it is a whole lot of fun to operate every time. The charging system for both the hand held unit and the trailer mover itself are well designed. I store the TRAX X2 under the boat when not in use. You get what you pay for! 100% Happy. Thank-You Everyone at TRAX POWER DOLLY!

After spending countless hours checking all the trailer dollies on the the market I kept coming back to yours as .my # 1 pick. This was for quite a few reasons. Like.. Your many great design features leave the competition in the dark ages! Just your unque intigrated braking harness connection and the very versital yoke connector shim system sold me. Now after buying the TX600 and using it in a very challenging in and out parking situation.....a 27' toy hauler at about 8000 lbs with a hard turn and medium grade out the back gate. It works great and I am double stoked on buying your great Dolly! I could not rate this any better! Well done!!

Received my Trax X2 Power Dolly and it has completely blown away my expectations. I bought it to move my ATC 2015 Travel Trailer. What i love about it. 1. The quality of the dolly is second to none. The engineering that went into manufacturing it was exceptional. 2. Being able to move my Travel Trailer while walking around it to avoid obstructions is a game changer. 3. The speed of the unit is refreshing. I watched several videos on competing products and the slow pace of them would have driven me nuts. 4. The power of the unit is noticeable. It is rated for 15,000 lbs and my Travel Trailer only weighs 5K and you can tell it can move much more. And more importantly, the terrain is no challenge for it. I moved my unit in the grass and had to push it up about 4 inches on a concrete slab and it had no problems. 5. The customer service is outstanding. Jeff treats you like you are his only customer. I did a LOT of research on products on the market and this one stood out to me the most and after seeing it first hand, I couldn't be happier with my decision.

𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗫 𝗥𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗼

The TRAX Rhino https://traxdolly.com/trax-rhino/ has been specifically designed to be a powerful tug, built for moving pintle-style wagons and equipment trains. The first concept was developed for FedEx to move equipment around their facilities efficiently. Since then, the Rhino has been adopted by other companies and industries such as BRP and nurseries, where it is used daily to handle heavy-duty tasks. The TRAX Rhino features a differential axle system and sets a new standard with differential axle lock ability. This design requires little to no force to pivot on the spot, unlike fixed axle dollies that require a significant amount of force to steer in the desired direction.

𝗚𝗧𝟴𝟬𝟬𝟬

The GT8000 https://traxdolly.com/gt8000/ is the Grand Touring, fully featured, manual-controlled trailer dolly. Originally designed for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) used at major airports across the US and Canada, it was equipped with a differential axle system, providing superior maneuverability and control. This model also includes a differential axle lock ability, setting a new standard for ease of use. Over time, we expanded its use to move medium 5th-wheel trailers, gooseneck trailers, and other equipment, proving its versatility and robustness. Some have coined the GT8000 the "Lamborghini of power dollies," but it remains as affordable and reliable as a Toyota Tercel. Like the TRAX Rhino, the GT8000 requires little to no force to pivot on the spot.

𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗫 𝗫𝟮

The TRAX X2 https://traxdolly.com/trax-x2/ features a heavy-duty rubber track system, similar to those used in major ground-digging equipment like CAT machinery. Customers requested an easy-to-use wireless remote control system with speed control on a dual joystick setup. Initially developed for FEMA to move their equipment, the X2 quickly gained attention from the US military and other organizations for its powerful capabilities. With the right adapters, the X2 can easily move large 5th-wheel and gooseneck trailers, making it a versatile powerhouse in our lineup.

𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗫 𝗝𝟱

Set to be released in this quarter, the TRAX J5 features a larger footprint than the X2, with a rubber track system that spans a longer distance for increased traction. It includes a remote-controlled lift system that allows for maximum ease of connecting to trailer hitch systems, 5th wheels, and goosenecks remotely. Some say "Johnny 5 is alive," and we’ve seen the J5 in action proving just that. This model is designed to handle the most demanding tasks with unparalleled ease and efficiency.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝗼-𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴

In an era where "free shipping" is often touted as a selling point, Trax Power Dollies takes a different stance. As a wise man once said, "Nothing in life is free; someone is paying for it one way or another." Offering FREE shipping typically means that the cost is hidden elsewhere, often resulting in an inferior product that offers less than what you expect. By not offering free shipping, we ensure that you receive the full value of our products, with no hidden costs or compromises in quality. The receipt in your hand reflects a transparent and honest transaction, focusing on delivering the best product possible.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱

Some customers have expressed a desire for batteries and chargers to be included with the dolly. However, the absence of these components is a deliberate decision. Trax Power Dollies does not manufacture batteries or chargers, and including them would lead to a significant increase in the overall cost. Moreover, relying on third-party manufacturers and suppliers for batteries and chargers could lead to unpredictable price fluctuations, compromising our ability to maintain our commitment to providing exceptional value. We do not want any outside forces to control the vision Trax has—not now, and not in the future.

By focusing on what we do best—designing and manufacturing high-performance dollies—we can ensure that the TX6000, GT8000, TRAX Rhino, TRAX X2, and J5 remain affordable and of the highest quality. This approach allows customers to source batteries and chargers that best meet their specific needs and preferences, without external factors dictating prices or affecting our values.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

Trax Power Dollies is committed to continuous improvement and innovation. Our goal is to make each new model better than the last, incorporating customer feedback and leveraging the latest technologies. This commitment spans across all our models; we do not leave an older design behind but find ways to improve it as well. We ensure future adapters and accessories are backward compatible as best as we can.

We understand that our customers need solutions that can handle various environments and applications. Whether you are moving a boat, RV, or heavy equipment, Trax dollies are designed to meet your specific needs. We pride ourselves on offering more than just simple upgrades or flashy paint jobs that merely give the illusion of improvement. Each model includes features that are easy to see and understand, justifying the price increase from one design to another.

𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲

Our commitment to transparency and customer satisfaction is unmatched. Have some fun and look up "Wayback Time Machine" on Google. Trax Power Dollies exemplifies how continuous innovation and customer-centric design can lead to superior products without escalating costs. With over 8.5 years of development and refinement, the [TX6000](https://traxdolly.com/tx6000/), GT8000, TRAX Rhino, TRAX X2 and soon-to-be-released J5 are testaments to Trax Power Dollies' dedication to providing top-quality, affordable solutions for trailer mobility.

Enhanced Precision and Reliability: TRAX Designed Dual Joystick Throttle Controls vs. Traditional Push Button Remote Controls

When comparing TRAX Designed dual joystick throttle controls with traditional push-button remote controls, the differences in precision and reliability become evident, especially in operations involving dual-motor powered trailer dollies. While both systems can manage two motors, the manner in which they do so, and the subsequent impact on performance, is distinctly different.

Limitations of Push Button Directional Wireless Remote Controls

Despite their capability to control dual motors, push button remotes often fall short in ensuring synchronized motor operation:

• Risk of Asynchronous Motor Speed: Push button remotes can control two motors, but they lack the sophisticated mechanisms necessary to ensure that both motors operate at the same speed and with the same timing. If one motor operates faster than the other, it can lead to uneven movements and cause the trailer dolly to veer or 'dogleg' to one side. This lack of synchronization not only complicates navigation but can also increase wear and tear on the equipment.

• Difficulty in Precision Control: The inherent design of push-button remotes, which often relies on pre-set speed settings, does not allow for fine-tuned adjustments in real-time. This can be particularly problematic in scenarios where precise movements are crucial, such as navigating through tight spaces or aligning the dolly for loading and unloading.

Superiority of TRAX Dual Joystick Wireless Throttle Controls

TRAX’s dual joystick throttle controls address these issues with advanced features designed for optimal control and synchronization of dual motors:

• Independent and Synchronized Motor Control: Each joystick on the TRAX system directly controls one motor, allowing for independent adjustment of each motor’s speed and direction. This setup ensures that movements are smooth and synchronized, reducing the risk of the trailer dolly veering off course.

• Intuitive and Responsive Operation: The operation of TRAX joysticks is intuitive, mimicking the control logic used in skid-steer vehicles and tanks, where each track's speed and direction can be finely controlled. This level of control is vital for making small, precise adjustments that are often necessary in complex operational environments.

•. Variable Speed Adjustment: The ability to adjust the speed variably via the joysticks means that operators can dynamically change how fast each motor runs in real time. This flexibility allows for immediate corrections to motor speed discrepancies, ensuring straight, controlled movement without the 'doglegging' issue common with push button controls.

While both TRAX-designed dual joystick throttle controls and traditional push-button remote controls can manage dual motors, the level of control and precision offered by the TRAX system far surpasses that of its push-button counterparts. TRAX joysticks provide seamless, synchronized control over dual motors, making them ideal for applications requiring high precision and reliability. This not only enhances operational efficiency but also reduces the risk of errors and equipment damage, making it a preferred choice for modern, demanding environments. For operators seeking the utmost in control and performance, upgrading to TRAX’s dual joystick throttle controls is a clear step forward.
The Superiority of Automatic Park Brake Systems Over Planetary Gear Jamming in Motor Design

In the world of motorized trailer dollies, safety and reliability is paramount when power to the motor is off. Traditionally, some systems have relied on the inherent mechanical resistance of planetary gear systems to prevent motion. However, this method, often accompanied by loud wench motors, is less than ideal due to its propensity to jam and wear over time. A more refined and effective solution is the incorporation of an automatic park brake system. Let's explore why powered trailer dollies equipped with motors with automatic park brakes represent a significantly better design choice compared to those relying on the self-jamming of planetary gears.

Enhanced Reliability and Safety

Automatic Park Brake Systems:

Automatic park brakes are designed to engage automatically when the motor is turned off, securely locking the system in place. This feature ensures that the equipment remains stationary, providing a high level of safety and reliability. Automatic park brakes are particularly beneficial in applications where equipment must maintain its position on slopes or in variable terrain conditions without the risk of slipping or moving unexpectedly.

Planetary Gear Systems:

Planetary gear systems, when used for stopping motion, rely on the gears jamming against themselves to prevent further movement. This method is inherently less reliable as it depends on the physical resistance of the gears, which can vary with wear and environmental conditions. The force exerted in jamming can lead to accelerated wear and tear, potentially resulting in failure and the need for frequent maintenance or replacement.

Noise and Maintenance Concerns

Automatic Park Brake Systems:
These systems operate quietly and efficiently. The activation of the brake is generally smooth and silent, contributing to a more pleasant and less disruptive operation environment. Additionally, the lack of reliance on mechanical friction means that automatic park brakes typically require less maintenance, reducing long-term upkeep costs.

Planetary Gear Systems:
Conversely, using a planetary gear system that jams itself to prevent motion often results in significant noise during operation. The sound of gears grinding or jamming can be loud and unpleasant, contributing to noise pollution and operator discomfort. Moreover, the mechanical stress involved in this process accelerates wear, necessitating more frequent checks and repairs to prevent malfunctions.

Operational Efficiency and User Experience

Automatic Park Brake Systems:
The use of an automatic park brake enhances the overall user experience by providing a quick, reliable, and user-friendly means of immobilizing the equipment. Operators can trust that the system will remain securely in place without any additional intervention, which simplifies operations and enhances safety protocols.

Planetary Gear Systems:
Relying on planetary gears to halt and hold positions can complicate operations. The uncertainty of gear jamming—not always guaranteeing a complete or secure stop—can pose risks, especially in critical applications. The need for constant monitoring and the potential for gear slippage undermines operational efficiency and user confidence.

The transition to motors equipped with automatic park brakes from those relying on the self-jamming of planetary gears represents a significant advancement in motor design. The automatic park brake system offers superior reliability, safety, noise reduction, and maintenance advantages, making it a preferred choice in nearly any application where precision and durability are required. TRAX POWER DOLLY SYSTEMS INC have decided to use a superior motor design that incorporated automatic park brakes, so that our customers can ensure their equipment operates more efficiently, safely, and ultimately leading to enhanced performance and reduced operational risks.
Under the Hood: Decoding the 36-Volt Trailer Dolly Advantage

Alright, buckle up folks, 'cause we're diving deep into the nitty-gritty of trailer-moving tech. Today, we're shining a light on the age-old showdown between 12-volt winch motors and the new kid on the block: 36-volt dolly systems. Strap in and get ready for a ride through the engine bay of innovation!

Efficiency and Power:
Now, let's talk juice. A 12-volt winch motor, bless its heart, guzzles down amps like it's going out of style. That heavy draw ain't just tough on the battery—it's cookin' up trouble under the hood. But slide under a rig with a 36-volt dolly system, and you'll find a smoother ride. These babies sip on power like it's a fine bourbon, delivering the same oomph with less strain on the system. That means less heat, less wear, and more miles on the clock.

Durability and Longevity:
When it comes to longevity, it's a tale of two engines. The 12-volt winch motor? Well, let's just say it's prone to throwin' in the towel sooner rather than later. Heat exhaustion's a real killer, frying up components faster than a deep-fried Twinkie at the county fair. But swap in a 36-volt dolly system, and you're in it for the long haul. These bad boys are built tough, with beefed-up components that can take a beating and keep on truckin'.

Battery Management and Efficiency:
Now, about them batteries. With a 12-volt winch motor, you're lookin' at a one-way ticket to Recharge City. That heavy draw drains 'em faster than a leaky radiator hose. But punch the throttle on a 36-volt dolly system, and you'll see a whole different story. These systems know how to stretch a charge like it's nobody's business, keepin' you on the road longer and savin' you a buck or two in the process.

Precision Control:
Last but not least, let's talk control. Ever try steerin' a wild bronco down a narrow trail? That's what it's like wranglin' a trailer with a 12-volt winch motor. Speed? Forget about it—it's all or nothin' with these beasts. But with a 36-volt dolly system, it's like drivin' a Cadillac on cruise control. Precision's the name of the game, with smooth, steady movements that'll make you feel like a pro behind the wheel.

Conclusion:
So there you have it, folks—the lowdown on trailer-moving tech, straight from the grease-stained hands of a seasoned mechanic. When it comes to power, durability, efficiency, and control, the 36-volt dolly system is the clear winner. So why settle for second best? Get behind the wheel of innovation and take your trailer game to the next level!
How do I know how much battery life I have left on my TRAX POWER DOLLY SYSTEM?

The TX6000, GT8000, and TRAX Rhino feature a throttle with three indicator lights. When all three lights are illuminated, the batteries are fully charged. The lights will turn off sequentially to show battery depletion: first, the green light, then the yellow, and finally, the red.

The TRAX X2 and J5 models also have a battery indicator reflecting current battery levels. Please note that when the dolly is under load, the lights may temporarily show a lower battery level until the load is removed.

We recommend maintaining a full charge on the dolly whenever it is not in use to ensure optimal performance.
Gone are the days of awkwardly inching your way out of a jam. Our products are like the secret weapon in your trailer-towing arsenal, giving you the superpower to maneuver like a pro. So whether you're navigating a crowded campground or squeezing into a snug parking spot, trust us to turn every tight squeeze into a victory lap!

Get ready to level up your trailer game and make maneuvering a breeze. With our innovative solutions, you'll be the envy of every trailer-towing aficionado on the block. So buckle up and get ready for a ride filled with fun and adventure – because with us, there's no such thing as a tight spot too tight to conquer!
Before purchasing a TRAX power dolly, customers often inquire about its capabilities. Yet, after acquiring it, they find themselves asking: "What can't it do?"
